  • This can be repeated for 3 Sets with 30 seconds hold each time.
  • Begin with Samasthithi. Join your palms in front of your heart chakra and raise your arms up. Bend your knees and slowly lower your pelvis.
  • Keep your pelvis parallel to the floor with a 90-degree bend at the knees.
  • Align your ankles and knees in one straight line, and focus your gaze towards your Namaskar.
  • Ensure that your spine remains erect.

Vasishtasana

  • This can be repeated for 3 Sets with 30 seconds hold each time.
  • Begin with Santholanasan (Plank).
  • Place your left palm firmly on the ground lifting up your right hand off the floor.
  • Turn your entire body to face the right side and lift your right leg off the floor and place it over your left leg. Raise your right arm above and keep your fingers pointing to the sky.
  • Ensure that both your knees, heels and feet are in contact with each other. Both arms and shoulders are in one straight line.
  • Turn your head and look up at your right hand. Hold the asana for a while. Repeat the same on the left side

Paschimottanasana

  • This can be repeated for 3 Sets with 30 seconds hold each time.
  • Begin with Dandasana with your legs stretched out forward and keep your knees slightly bent.
  • Lift your arms up and keep your spine erect. Exhale and bend forward placing your upper body on your lower body. Being your arms down and hold your big toes with your fingers. 

Adomukhiswanasna

  • This can be repeated for 3 Sets with 30 seconds hold each time.
  • Place your palms under the shoulders and knees below the hips.
  • Get your knees and hips up, move both feet backwards, straighten the knees and elbows, and form an inverted ‘V’ shape. Now keep the hands shoulders width apart. Fingers point ahead.
  • Push your heels to the floor. Hold the position for a few seconds. Keep your eye focused on your big toes.

Naukasana

  • This can be repeated for 3 Sets with 30 seconds hold each time.
  • Start on your back, and lift up your upper and lower body to balance on your sitting bones. Align your toes with your eyes; keep your knees and back straight and arms parallel to the ground. Tighten your abdominal muscles and straighten your back.

Pranayama & Meditation techniques

Anulom Vilom

Close your right nostril, and inhale with the left. Close left and exhale with your right. Continue breathing alternatively through your nostrils. 

Ayurveda

Consume medicated water for 2-3 days after the festivities. You can add Basil leaves (Tulsi) to water and let it soak in for 3-4 hours. Please do not eat the basil leaves directly. This herbal water helps for detox and weight management.
